Here is another one of my bikes. This is pretty much an out and out track machine but I use it occasionally on the road. Its a 1951 Hobbs of Barbican 'Blue Riband' model. This was their top of the range machine with the fanciest lugwork. It has Chater Lea inch pitch (skip tooth) transmission with a block chain. It makes a great sound when you ride it! It has Harden Hubs and Fiamme sprint rims, Cinelli steel bars and a Brooks Sprinter (ouch!!) saddle.
Let me know if you want to see any more of my vintage machines....... remember my 1905 cross-frame Chater-Lea?
Best wishes from London, Tim
