Well it's done: a tall track bike. The bottom is a Bridgestone Kabuki and the top is a Mizutani Seraph. It has a monostay and a big gusset on the front of the bottom bracket. The steerer extension is essentially a long handlebar stem, making both headsets rebuildable and the fork replaceable. Front wheel is 26 x 1-3/8 and the back wheel is 27 x 1-1/4, so with the bullhorns it is technically a pursuit bike. It's easy to trackstand on but stopping is a bitch with 52 x 19 gearing and 'rotafixed' cog. I haven't managed a skid yet. Don't know if I'll be trying it at Alpenrose. _________________________________________________________________ Climb to the top of the charts!  Play Star Shuffle:  the word scramble challenge with star power. http://club.live.com/star_shuffle.aspx?icid=starshuffle_wlmailtextlink_oct  choppermark@hotmail.com
