Hi! This is my restored Bianchi Rekord 745. I bought the frame and fork ay an old bicycle store, here in Puerto Rico. It was in grey primer and I was told it was a Cinelli. After using some paint remover, the original decals revealed the truth.

Original paint was in real bad shape and decals were scraped awfully, so I started to do my research on original paint code, correct components and original decals.

After 4 months, this is the result. Bianchi's classic celeste green(Sea Foam Powdercoat), Campagnolo Super Record hubs, Campagnolo Daytona crankset, Nitto Stem and handlebars, Concor Profil seat, Vittoria tires and other same era, not Campy, components.

Now it is my ride in San Juan-Carolina coast line ("Viejo San Juan-Condado-Isla Verde"), where a large number of locals are taking seriously the fixie and single speed culture, mostly in the line of urban riding, known as "ciclismo urbano" or "bicijangueo".

I follow you on Facebook and really enjoy your publications, so I decided to share my buddy ride, in the same celeste color, wich is the original color of the triangle in our Puerto Rico flag. That's a plus! :-)
