18,798 • Here is my 1981 Trek 610 converted to be my first fixed gear road bike. I bought it as a neglected pewter gray 610 without decals, but the process of stripping and refinishing the bike in British Racing Green and VeloCals decals gave new life to the bike. She is super light and fun to ride around the rolling hills of Kentucky, despite the relatively high gear ratio 52-19! I love the look of the large front ring…reminds me of the Racycles Pacemaker from the turn of the century. Now I just need to figure out how to use these toe clips or get another set of SPD clipless pedals. Great site, please keep it up!
